The condensed version, Prayer for Trials
But, for our profit (God Disciplines us) that we may be Partakers of His holiness. (Heb 12:10) Finally brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against the spiritual wickedness in the heavenly realms. (Eph 6:10-12)
Therefore, I count it all joy my brethren when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience (endurance) – [“Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will (Heb 10:35-36 NLT) ] and let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete lacking in nothing. If (since) any of lacks wisdom, let him ask of God who gives to all liberally and without reproach and it will be given unto him (James 1:2-5) Therefore, let us come boldly into the Throne room of grace to obtain mercy to find grace to help us in our time of need (Heb 4:16)
But, those who wait on the Lord shall (will) renew their strength, they shall (will) mount up with wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary, they shall (will) walk and not be faint. (Is 40:31) So, do not throw away our confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you! Through the Lord’s mercy we are not consumed because his compassions fail not, great is Thy faithfulness. (Lam 3:22,23) Therefore, we do not lose heart, though our outward man is perishing, our inward man (our spirit) is being renewed day by day (this is where our strength comes from). For our light affliction, which is but for a moment is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. While we do not look at the things which are seen, but the things that are not seen. For the things that are seen are temporary, and the things that are not seen are eternal (God’s solutions lie here). (2 Cor 4:16-18)
Therefore, I remind you to stir up the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands. For God has not given you a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love and sound mind. (2 Tim 1:6,7) For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but are mighty in God for the pulling down of strongholds (what is your stronghold holding you back from breakthrough?) (2 Cor 10: 3,4) Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all of the power of the enemy, and nothing by any means shall hurt you. (LK 10:19 NKJV). Now, this the confidence we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us, and if (since) we know that He hears us, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him. (1 Jn 5:14,15) Now, thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ and in us diffuses the fragrance of his knowledge in every place. For we are a fragrance of Christ to God among those who are being saved and amongst those who are perishing (be a Witness, remember, people are watching you as you go through your trial) 2 Cor 2:14,15)
